USE OF PERSONAL DAY FOR AN EMPLOYEE’S EMERGENCY. An employee who has one (1) or more personal days accrued may, subject to department approval, use the personal day(s) as an emergency day(s) of personal leave when circumstances justify such use. Employees wishing to make such use of the day(s) must notify the department as soon as possible and specify the reason for the request.
