Use of Sick Leave for Bereavement Purposes. Employees who have exhausted 19 their bereavement leave shall be entitled to use up to three days of sick leave (twenty-four hours) for 20 each instance when death occurs to a member of the employee’s immediate family. One day of sick 21 leave per occurrence may be used for the attendance of a funeral of other than a close relative or a 22 significant person living in the employee’s household.
