Common use of User Responsibilities Clause in Contracts

User Responsibilities. To protect against unauthorized access or misuse of Confidential Information residing on Supplier Information Processing Systems, Supplier will: (a) Ensure access to systems and applications storing or transmitting Company Data or Confidential Information is limited to only those individuals whose job requires such access based on a need-to-know; (b) Ensure that Supplier Information Processing Systems users follow industry standard security practices and in the selection and use of strong passwords; (c) Ensure that unattended equipment has appropriate protection to prohibit access and use by unauthorized individuals; (d) Ensure that Confidential Information contained at workstations, including but not limited to paper and on display screens is protected from unauthorized access.

(b) 9.2.2 Ensure that Supplier Provider Information Processing Systems users follow industry standard current security practices and in the selection and use of strong passwords;. (c) 9.2.3 Ensure that unattended equipment has appropriate protection to prohibit access and use by unauthorized individuals;. (d) 9.2.4 Ensure that Recipient Confidential Information contained at workstations, including but not limited to paper and on display screens is protected from unauthorized access.
