User Safety. 6.1.1 While the User will be informed regarding MIT’s general safety policies prior to being allowed to use the Facilities, MIT assumes no responsibility for User's personal safety. It is expected that User will operate all instruments and equipment in a safe and professional manner, consistent with the operating instructions and the Facilities’ polices. 6.1.2 User understands that use of the Facilities may involve exposure to potentially hazardous conditions or other risks, including, but not limited to, chemical, mechanical, electrical, thermal, and radiation hazards. User knowingly and voluntarily assumes such risks, on its own behalf and on behalf of its Authorized Individuals.
