You authorise a contactless Purchase by presenting your Card or device on which your Card is loaded, to the merchant’s terminal. Once you have authorised a Purchase using your Card, you cannot cancel the Purchase at the time of payment. You may be able to ask for a refund in certain circumstances (see Condition 18). Immediately after making a Purchase using your Card the amount of the Purchase will be added to your Account and deducted from your Credit Limit. We will not process any transactions where the amount of the Purchase is not known in advance, unless you have authorised us to do so. We will release any amounts which have been blocked on your Account without undue delay after becoming aware of the amount of the Purchase, and in any event, immediately after receipt of your payment instruction. We will refund the unauthorised Purchase as soon as practicable, and in any event no later than the end of the next business day starting on which you have informed us about the unauthorised Purchase.
