Common use of Vacated Schedules Clause in Contracts

Vacated Schedules. When a position with a regular schedule is vacated the 19 nurse manager and members of the unit-based staffing committee may 20 evaluate the needs of the unit and may alter the vacated regular schedule to 21 meet patient and operational needs of the unit. An alteration to a vacated 22 regular schedule position may be made by the unit manager to meet 23 departmental needs and can also be proposed by a nurse or a group of 24 nurses. The position will be posted in accordance with letter H of this 25 Appendix.
