Productivity Performance. Studies have shown that many of us (some say most of us) do not function well when working in a Remote Office. It is not for everyone. Working remotely requires considerable focus and discipline to deflect distractions that are not present when working in the Company office. Family members, pets, a piling up chore to-do list, and a nap beckon you! Be prepared to overcome procrastination and significant distractions that will come your way.
1. Teleworkers will be subject to a probationary period outlined in Schedule A.
2. The Teleworker agrees to comply with all existing job requirements.
3. Teleworkers are expected to provide their manager with a weekly status report showing their accomplishments and results during the duration of the Program.
4. Evaluation of the Teleworker's job performance will be based on norms or other criteria derived from past performance and occupational standards. For those assignments without precedent or without standards, regular and required progress reporting by the Teleworker will be used to rate job performance and establish standards.

The parties recognize that maintaining adequate 12 productivity is necessary to the essential operations of Home Health and 13 Hospice, and that each nurse’s productivity is a key part of that nurse’s 14 overall performance. The parties also recognize that there are many factors 15 that can detract from an individual nurse’s productivity and that many of 16 those factors are outside of the control of the individual nurse. 18 For that reason, in any performance conversation with a nurse regarding 19 productivity, Home Health and Hospice will commit to considering in good 20 faith any factor outside the nurse’s control that may have adversely impacted 21 that nurse’s productivity, including but not limited to: 22 ▪ Traffic (heavy traffic, accidents, construction, fallen trees, icy 23 roads, etc.); 24 ▪ Computer issues (upgrades, slow sync time, hardware issues, 25 EPIC/network issues); staff meetings; 26 ▪ Multiple Meetings; 27 ▪ Patient complexity; 28 ▪ Continuing education; and 29 ▪ Preceptorship 31 If a nurse believes that the nurse’s productivity has been adversely impacted by any 32 of these or similar factors, the nurse is encouraged to bring those factors to the 33 attention of the nurse’s manager. 1 If a nurse has reported such instance(s) and it is determined that those instance(s) 2 did cause the nurse to not meet productivity, that nurse will not be put on a work 3 plan, disciplined, or terminated.
