Vacation Leave Increments Sample Clauses

The "Vacation Leave Increments" clause defines the minimum units of time in which employees may take their accrued vacation leave. Typically, this means that vacation must be scheduled in full days, half-days, or other specified increments, rather than in arbitrary or very small time blocks. For example, an employee might be required to take vacation in no less than half-day increments, preventing requests for just an hour or two off as vacation. This clause ensures administrative clarity and consistency in tracking leave, and helps employers manage staffing and scheduling more effectively.
