Common use of Valid Licence Clause in Contracts

Valid Licence. a) The company will have the right, at its discretion, to stand down without pay the employee if through loss of driving licence is unable to perform his normal duties. During such a stand down period, the employee may avail himself of any unused annual or long service leave. b) The employee will be required to produce proof of a current driver’s licence and traffic history on annually in the form of a Drivers declaration form. Any expenses associated with producing documents such as traffic history reports shall be borne by the employer.
