Common use of Verbal Threat Clause in Contracts

Verbal Threat. 1. A case of verbal threat toward a bargaining unit member during the performance of his/her duties shall be reported promptly by the bargaining unit member to the Superintendent or his/her designated representative. 2. Appropriate data shall be gathered by the Superintendent/designee. The Superintendent/ designee, or the bargaining unit member, shall immediately notify the appropriate law enforcement officials, and if authorized by law enforcement, the data shall be made available to the bargaining unit member.
