Common use of VESSELS WRECKED OR STRANDED Clause in Contracts

VESSELS WRECKED OR STRANDED. (a) If the Vessel on which an Employee is serving becomes wrecked or stranded, or if by fire, explosion, collision, or foundering, the Vessel is disabled, and an Employee is called upon for special efforts, including fire-fighting duties on or from the Vessel, the Employee will be paid for the time during which the Employee so assists at the pay rate of $27.84 per hour in addition to any other pay rates.
