Common use of Violation of Laws Indemnity Clause in Contracts

Violation of Laws Indemnity. The Subrecipient agrees to and will at all times indemnify, defend and hold harmless the County from including without limitation any and all claims, suits, demands, judgments, losses, costs, fines, penalties, damages, liabilities and expenses (including all costs for investigation and defense thereof including, but not limited to, court costs, reasonable expert witness fees and attorney fees) arising from or based upon the violation of any federal, state or municipal laws, statutes, ordinances, resolutions, rules or regulations, by the Subrecipient, its employees, agents, contractors, and/or subcontractors, or those under their control.
