Violence Policies and Procedures. The Employer agrees to develop, in consultation with the joint health and safety committee, formalized explicit policies and procedures to deal with violence. The policy will address the prevention of workplace violence, the management of violent situations, and support to employees who have faced violence. The policy and procedures shall be part of the employee's health and safety policy and each new hire shall receive training on this policy during the general orientation. Prior to implementing any changes to these policies, the employer agrees to consult with the joint health and safety committee.
