Voluntary Irregular Hours Sample Clauses

The Voluntary Irregular Hours clause allows employees and employers to agree that work may be performed outside of standard or fixed working hours, based on mutual consent. In practice, this means that an employee can choose to work at varying times, such as evenings or weekends, rather than adhering to a traditional 9-to-5 schedule, provided both parties agree to the arrangement. This clause provides flexibility for both the employer and employee, accommodating personal needs or business demands, and helps address situations where standard hours are impractical or undesirable.
Voluntary Irregular Hours. The parties agree that employees will be allowed to voluntarily work irregular hours without penalty to the Employer unless the employee works more hours than the employee's regularly scheduled shift. These provisions apply when an employee wishes to: change days off; change the length of the work shift (e.g., to or from 4-10 and 5-8 work shifts); change the starting time of the work shift; and, change to a work week with non-consecutive days off.
