Voluntary Part time Benefits - Process for payment. The Hospital agrees to provide regular permanent part-time nurses with the option of voluntary participation in semi-private, extended health care and dental benefits. It is understood and agreed that the regular permanent part-time nurse who participates will assume the monthly premiums. Any regular permanent part-time nurse who wishes to participate will provide payment of the premiums through a pre-authorized automatic transfer arranged through a local bank. Should there be any arrears for benefit premiums, the Hospital will notify the nurse that they have two (2) weeks to make the payment or benefit coverage will be cancelled. It is understood that any transaction would be dated the first of each and every month. The Hospital will notify the Association of the benefit costs to regular permanent part-time nurses in January of each year and each time the benefit costs are re-negotiated by the Hospital.
