Voluntary Reduction from Classes Designated as Vulnerable to Layoff. A. An employee in a class designated by the Authority as vulnerable to layoff may request a voluntary reduction to any class provided the employee possesses the minimum qualifications for the class, has served in and passed probation in that class with the Authority or a predecessor employer, and has passed any required performance tests for the class to which reduction is requested. Such employees shall be eligible for consideration for available positions in the class to which reduction is requested. If appointed, such an employee shall be placed on AUTHORITY REINSTATEMENT LISTS pursuant to Section 7.A.3 of this Article.
