The Divisional Manager has the delegated authority to approve special leave with pay for volunteer fire fighters to attend Annual Competitions for New South Wales. Up to a maximum of one (1) week will be granted. i Such leave can be granted where it does not adversely affect Council’s operations. ii Production of evidence from the Officer-in-Charge of the Fire Station in which the volunteer fire fighter is engaged to show that the Brigade is participating in the championships and that the service of the employee is required for that purpose.
