Common use of Votes Clause in Contracts

Votes. Subject as provided in paragraph 13 (Participation) hereof at any Meeting: (a) on a show of hands every person who is present in person and is a holder of Current Issuer Notes or is a Proxy or Representative shall have one vote; and (b) on a poll every such person who is so present shall have one vote in respect of each US$1,000 (in the case of the Dollar Notes) or {pound-sterling}1,000 (in the case of the Sterling Notes) or e1,000 (in the case of the Euro Notes) in Principal Amount Outstanding of the Current Issuer Notes in respect of which he is a Proxy or Representative or in respect of which he is the holder. Without prejudice to the obligations of the proxies named in any Block Voting Instruction or Form of Proxy any person entitled to more than one vote need not use all his votes or cast all the votes to which he is entitled in the same way.
