Common use of W/MBE Goals Clause in Contracts

W/MBE Goals. In compliance with the Owner’s W/MBE Policy and Program, the Design-Builder’s minimum W/MBE commitment is established as the sum total of the verified Letter(s) of Intent for each portion of the Program submitted with their response. The W/MBE goal stated below is the sum total of the certified W/MBE’s listed in the Design-Builder’s fee and scope proposal which is attached hereto and which will be enforceable under the terms of this Contract. The Design-Builder will demonstrate that they will subcontract to certified W/MBEs at least 12.5% of the total dollar amount earned on the design phase of the Program.
