Common use of War or National Emergency Clause in Contracts

War or National Emergency. During the time of war or national emergency, Lessor shall have the right to lease the Airport or any part thereof to the United States Government for military use, and if any such lease is executed, the provisions of this Lease insofar as they are inconsistent with the Lease to the Government shall be suspended, and in that event, a just and proportionate part of the rent hereunder shall be abated.
