Common use of Warrant of Authority Clause in Contracts

Warrant of Authority. 35.1 The officials executing this Agreement in behalf of the City and the Union signatory hereto, hereby warrant and guarantee that they have the authority to act for, bind and collectively bargain in behalf of the organizations which they represent. 35.2 It is also recognized by the parties that the only letters of understanding or other agreements considered valid and binding shall be those expressly executed as addenda to this Agreement and agreed to jointly by the Union and by the Human Resources Director, on behalf of the City.

It is also recognized by the parties that the only letters of understanding or other agreements considered valid and binding shall be those expressly executed as addenda to this Agreement and agreed to jointly by the Union District Council of Trade Unions on behalf of the Union(s) and by the Human Resources Director, on behalf of the City.
