WATER AND LIGHTING. The contractor shall pay for all fees and provide water and light as required from Corporation mains or other sources, and shall pay all charges therefore for the use of the work and workmen. The water for the works shall be free from earthy, vegetable or organic matter and from salts or other substances like to interfere with the setting of the mortar or otherwise prove harmful to the work.

The contractor Contractor shall pay for all fees and provide water and light as required from Corporation Municipal mains or other sources, sources and shall pay all charges therefore charges, thereof (including storage tanks, meters etc.) for the use of the work works and workmen, unless otherwise specified elsewhere in these documents or arranged and decided on by writing with Engineer. The water used for the works shall be free from earthy, earthy vegetable or organic matter and from salts or other substances like likely to interfere with the setting of the mortar or otherwise prove harmful to the workwork and conform to relevant standards.
