Water and Resource Recovery Weekend. Holiday Policy Each Public Works Department employee shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours overtime at a rate of one and one- half (1½) times the employee’s hourly rate for being required to perform routine system checks during each day falling on an assigned week-end or holiday. Week-ends are defined under this Section as the time outside the employee’s regularly scheduled work week; Holidays are those defined in Article 14 of this contract. The weekend schedule shall be made and posted by December 31 for the following calendar year. The employees in the water supply and resource recovery Departments shall have assigned holiday duty. Such assignments are normally on a three (3) year rotation schedule with no holiday assignment repeated within the three (3) years,
