Mortar shall be mixed dry thoroughly water shall then be added gradually in required quantity. Mortar shall be uniformly applied all over surface and then thin layer of cement paste shall be finished as specified in cement finish cement plaster.

WATER PROOFING PLASTER. 14.8.1. Integral water proofing compound shall be mixed with cement in the proportion indicated by weight. Care shall be taken to ensure waterproofing material gets well and integrally mixed with cement and does not run out separately when water is added.
