Common use of Wet Mopping and Scrubbing Clause in Contracts

Wet Mopping and Scrubbing. The floors shall be properly prepared and thoroughly swept to remove visible dirt and debris. Removal of gum, tar, and similar substances from the floor surface is required. On completion of mopping and scrubbing, the floors shall be clean and free of dirt, water streaks, mop marks, string, etc., and properly rinsed and dry mopped to present an overall appearance of cleanliness. After wet mopping or scrubbing, all surfaces, including corners and cracks, shall be dry. When scrubbing is designated, it shall be performed by machine or by hand with a brush.
