Ceramic Tile. Dust mop entire floor. Auto strip (centrifugal brush machine) entire floor. Chemical used must be approved by Facilities Operations Manager before use.
Ceramic Tile. Ceramic tile and tile backing shall be installed in such a manner that the tile does not detach.
Ceramic Tile. All restrooms will receive 1" x 1" unglazed tile by Dal-Tile approximately 1150 sq. ft/
Ceramic Tile. The Contractor shall replace ceramic tile which becomes cracked, chipped, or broken loose. Replacement tiles shall match existing patterns and colors. The Contractor shall correct all faults IAW priorities and timelines in paragraph C.5.2.3.
Ceramic Tile. The following assumptions further define the scope of work and value as indicated in the documents listed below.
Ceramic Tile. A. Restrooms: 6" x 6" Crossville with cross plus finish or match grade for floors and walls. Walls to be full height.
Ceramic Tile. 12" x 12" Fiandre type ceramic tile in washrooms.
Ceramic Tile. Provide full height ceramic tile wainscot on all walls at toilet rooms. Provide mosaic tile flooring. Provide 3/4" thick stone countertops at toilet rooms.
Ceramic Tile. The GMP excludes ceramic tile.
Ceramic Tile. (i) any ceramic tile will comply with all applicable standards, including the TTMAC Specification Guide 09300 Tile Installation Manual;
(ii) in order to reduce opportunities for the spread of infection, avoid use of ceramic tile in the food preparation area;
(iii) provide control joints and expansion joints in conformance with the recommendations of the TTMAC Tile Installation Manual;
(iv) provide a waterproof membrane under ceramic floor and wall tile in showers and other wet areas. The membrane will be trowel-applied, built-up, liquid-applied or sheet-applied;
(v) provide crack isolation membranes to resist crack transmission from the substrate due to lateral movement;
(vi) use elastomeric sheets or trowel-applied materials suitable for subsequent bonding of ceramic tile; and
(vii) set ceramic tile with latex modified mortar and grout with epoxy grout.
