Scope of Services and Term. 1.1 The City engages the Firm to provide legal services as it relates to the foreclosure of identified City code enforcement liens and for other legal services as may arise from time to time. This is a non-exclusive Agreement and the City reserves the right to contract with individuals or firms to provide the same or similar services. Either the City or the Firm may terminate this Agreement at any time upon written notice to the other. Termination of this Agreement shall not affect any rights, obligations, and liabilities of the parties arising out of transactions which occurred prior to termination.
Scope of Services and Term. A. CITY agrees to provide and dedicate to GVSD a sworn police officer to serve as the School Resource Officer (SRO) for GVSD on GVSD campus. The officer shall serve up to 50% of his/her time on GVSD campus, except during critical incidents or other emergencies, which may arise, which may require his/her presence elsewhere in the city.

Scope of Services and Term. 1.1 The City engages the Law Firm to provide legal representation to the City. Specifically, the City engages the Law Firm to provide legal services for an hourly fee of $350.00. The legal services to be provided are generally related to assisting the City with regards to April 2024 damage to the City’s sewage pipe/force main, related transactions, mediation, and litigation. However, the parties reserve the right to expand the scope of this Agreement for legal services on an as-needed basis. The term of this Agreement shall be open-ended without a term with the parties retaining the right to terminate upon written notice to the other party. Termination of this Agreement shall not affect any rights, obligations, and liabilities of the parties arising out of transactions which occurred prior to termination.
Scope of Services and Term. Subject to the provisions for early termination as set forth herein, the Contractor agrees that it will perform the Services enumerated in the scope of services attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference (the “Scope of Services”) for a term of five years (5) beginning , 2023 through , 2028 (the “Term”). The Authority in its sole discretion may extend the Agreement for two (2) additional one-year periods, for a potential maximum term of *** (**) years. The Authority will provide any such renewal notice in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to expiration of the Agreement. The maximum payment for the Term is set forth in Section II(a). All work shall be diligently performed by the Contractor in an economical, expeditious and professional manner.

The Agreement may be renewed at the option of the Authority for up to two (2) one (1)-year periods by mutual, written agreement of the Contractor and the Authority entered into at least ninety (90) days before the scheduled expiration date of the prior Term. In the absence of an official, written commitment to renew, by the Authority as described above, the Agreement will expire at the conclusion of the original Term. Scope of Services and Term. (a) Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, CONSULTANT agrees to provide COMPANY with general consulting services, including but not limited to providing advice and counsel to management, utilizing CONSULTANT's contacts and relationships to further the interests of COMPANY, assisting COMPANY in its business development activities and such other services, all as may be requested by COMPANY from time to time ("Services"). CONSULTANT shall not be obligated to provide Services in excess of eighty (80) hours per calendar month, nor shall CONSULTANT be required to travel extensively outside of Abingdon, Virginia in the performance of the Services.
