Common use of Where the external Clause in Contracts

Where the external. funds paying the salary of the Faculty Member appointed with xxxxx-tenure or with eligibility for xxxxx-tenure can no longer fund that portion of the salary obligation to the Faculty Member that was anticipated at appointment (more than 50% of the Faculty Member’s salary), the Faculty Member’s appointment will terminate after the provision of appropriate notice in accordance with section 16.16 and the University will have no obligation to continue that appointment after that date.
