Where written authority is provided by the employee. the employer will deduct union membership fees from the employee’s wages or salary and remit them, along with a schedule of such contributions, to the UWU at monthly intervals. The employee authorises the employer to deduct fees when the employee completes a UWU membership card authorising payroll deductions.
