  • Disputes between a Contracting Party and an Investor of the other Contracting Party

  • Settlement of Disputes between an Investor and a Contracting Party (1) Any dispute between an investor of one Contracting Party and the other Contracting Party in relation to an investment of the former under this Agreement shall, as far as possible, be settled amicably through negotiations between the parties to the dispute.

In the case of any violation of this Agreement the Employer and the Union shall be notified immediately.

  • Disputes between an Investor and a Contracting Party (1) Any dispute concerning an investment between an investor of one Contracting Party and the other Contracting Party shall, if possible, be settled amicably.

  • STRIKES, LOCKOUTS AND PICKET LINES The Union agrees that during the life of this Agreement, the Union or its bargaining unit members will not authorize, instigate, aid or engage in any work stoppage, slowdown, sickout, refusal to work, picketing or strike against the Employer and/or the Agency, its goods, property or on its property. The Agency agrees that during the life of this Agreement there will be no lockout. Upon notification confirmed in writing by the Employer to the Union that certain bargaining unit members covered by this Agreement are engaging in strike activity in violation of this Article, the Union shall advise such striking employees in writing, with a copy to the Department of Administrative Services, to return to work immediately. Such notification by the Union shall not constitute an admission that it has caused or counseled such strike activity.

  • Jurisdictional Disputes 17.01 A xxxx-up meeting will be held with each Contractor not later than the commencement of the Contractor's work on all projects and no assignments shall be made before this xxxx- up. Xxxx-up assignments shall also apply to all sub-contractors. If a jurisdictional dispute arises once the work has commenced, assignments will be made in accordance with procedures, rules and regulations of the National Joint Board Building Trades Department, A.F.L. & C.I.O. The work assignment shall not be completed until a meeting on site has been convened with all Parties involved and until a subsequent meeting (not later than twenty-four (24) hours) has taken place, at which the Contractor shall present the work assignment on paper to all Parties.

  • Rules of Grievance Processing 1. Time limits of any stage of the grievance procedure may be extended by written mutual agreement of the parties at that step.
