Common use of Work and Care Act Clause in Contracts

Work and Care Act. 1. For the purpose of this Act, wage is taken to mean: time-based compensation owed by the employer to the employee for the stipulated work, unless otherwise specified. 2. For the purpose of this Act, if the wage is other than time-based, the wage is considered to be the average wage that the employee could have earned in that time, had he not made use of a leave entitlement under this Act.
