Common use of Work on the Day Off Clause in Contracts

Work on the Day Off. For all work performed during the day off as defined by this Agreement, a rate of Double the base wage rate shall be paid for the first eight (8) hours worked, and an additional half (½) times the base rate for each additional hour worked.

(Notwithstanding the above, where a legal public holiday falls on the Employee’s normal day off if applicable and as defined by the Foundation, the day following the Public Holiday shall be the designated day off.)
