Common use of Work on the Day Off Clause in Contracts

Work on the Day Off. For all work performed during the day off as defined by this Agreement, a rate of Double the base wage rate shall be paid for the first eight (8) hours worked, and an additional half (1/2) times the base rate for each additional hour worked. (Notwithstanding the above, where a legal public holiday falls on the Employee’s normal day off if applicable and as defined by the Foundation, the day following the Public Holiday shall be the designated day off provided the Employee is eligible for such holiday.)
