Common use of Work Periods for Purposes of MOU Overtime Clause in Contracts

Work Periods for Purposes of MOU Overtime. For purposes of payment of overtime under this MOU, each 28 day period shall be divided into four, seven (7) day periods, with overtime being paid for work ordered and performed in excess of the employee’s regularly scheduled work hours, except as provided in 1.D. below. The beginning and ending of the seven (7) day work period will begin each Friday and end the following Thursday .
