Common use of Work Week/Work Year/Work Hours Clause in Contracts

Work Week/Work Year/Work Hours. A work week for overtime computation purposes shall begin at 12:01 a.m. on Monday and end at 12:00 midnight on the following Sunday. The number of hours worked each week will vary with the job classification and building assignment. The normal work week for most employees will be Monday through Friday. The work schedule (hours and shift) will be determined by the Administration. All changes in work shifts will be discussed in advance with individual(s) involved and where possible, personal preferences for shift assignment will be taken into consideration. (Note: The official work week of Custodial/Maintenance employees who occupy full-time positions shall be 40 hours per week).
