Weekend Work. (1) All ordinary hours of work performed between midnight on Friday and midnight on Sunday shall be paid for at the rate of time and one-half.
Weekend Work. For weekend work on which the nurse is not eligible for time and one-half pay under any provision of this Agreement (including for consecutive weekend work under Article 9.4.4), the nurse will be paid a weekend differential of $1.75 per hour worked. A weekend for purposes of this section shall be defined as all hours between 1900 Friday and 0700 Monday, except that the differential shall not be payable to nurses working a Friday shift that is scheduled to end either at 1900 or 1930 or to nurses working a Monday shift that is typically considered to be a day shift.
Weekend Work. (1) Overtime work on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of time and a half for the first two hours and double time thereafter, provided that all overtime worked after 12 noon on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of double time.
(2) All time worked on Sundays shall be paid for at the rate of double time.
(3) An employee required to work overtime on a Saturday or to work on a Sunday shall be afforded at least three hours' work on a Saturday or four hours' work on a Sunday or shall be paid for three hours' work on a Saturday or four hours' work on a Sunday at the appropriate rate.
(4) An employee working overtime on Saturday, or working on a Sunday, shall be allowed, without deduction of pay, a rest period of ten minutes between 9.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m.
(5) An employee working overtime on a Saturday, or working on a Sunday, shall be allowed a paid crib time of 20 minutes after four hours' work, to be paid for at the ordinary rate of pay but this provision shall not prevent any arrangements being made for the taking of a 30 minute meal period, the time in addition to the paid 20 minutes being without pay. In the event of an employee being required to work in excess of a further four hours, he/she shall be allowed to take a paid crib time of 30 minutes which shall be paid at the ordinary rate of pay.
Weekend Work i. No faculty member shall be required to work on Saturday, except as established by past practice. In the event that regular and contract faculty members within the pool decline Saturday work, the College will employ other contract faculty members, as selected through Article 5.05.b who agree to Saturday employment.
ii. No faculty member shall be required to work on Sunday. Any faculty member working on a Sunday shall receive a bonus of 10% of the hourly rate in addition to pay otherwise applicable.
iii. Notwithstanding 8.03.d.i and 8.03.d.ii, a faculty member may be required to provide instruction on weekends if this is where the available work which results in his/her position being established exists.
iv. No contract faculty member shall be refused a contract as a result of the application of sections 8.03.d.i and 8.03.d.ii. If a contract faculty member should lose work through withholding consent under Article 8.03.d.i and 8.03.d.ii, the College shall attempt to reschedule the contract instructor's work assignment, such rescheduling to be subject to the operational requirements of the College.
Weekend Work. Work for drivers on weekends will be offered on the basis of seniority. If the Company requires more drivers than those who volunteer, the work will be assigned on the basis of the least senior drivers on the combined seniority list. Owner Operators shall be paid a minimum of $300.00 for a callout for the 6th and/or 7th day worked which shall cover the first 4 hours of time spent working.
Weekend Work. At the time of hiring, the University shall indicate if weekend work may become a requirement of the hire.
Weekend Work. For work on the weekend, the Hospital will make an effort to have 16 Nurses who work 12 hour shifts work no more than every third weekend. Any nurse who is 17 required to work more than every other weekend shall be paid one-and-a-half times their regular 18 rate of pay for all weekend hours worked outside of their normal rotation (note, however, that this 19 premium pay will not apply if the change in required weekend rotation is due to holiday scheduling.) 20 The weekend is defined as beginning at 2300 on Friday and ending at 2330 on Sunday. Weekend 21 differential is paid based on the majority of hours worked within that time-frame, and is paid only for 22 hours worked.
Weekend Work. For an employee who works in accordance with his or her employment contract only in weekends, mid-week holidays or on Christmas or Midsummer Eve, it can be agreed that the salary is the same for each of the working hours. This agreement must be made in writing, and it must indicate that the agreed salary already includes possible evening and Saturday bonuses, as well as the daily overtime compensation and the Sunday bonus.
Weekend Work. Employees shall be guaranteed at least two (2) hours pay if called in on weekends. Pay is at overtime rate if hours are in excess of 40 for that week, at regular rate if less than 40 for that week. Paid time off does not count toward 40 hours.
Weekend Work. 26.1 All time worked on a Saturday or a Sunday will be paid for at double time.
26.2 An employee required to work on a Saturday or Sunday will be afforded at least three hours’ work on a Saturday or a Sunday or will be paid for four hours on a Saturday or a Sunday at the appropriate rate. Provided that on urgent service work an employee will be paid in accordance with 25.1(a)
26.3 An employee working overtime on a Saturday or a Sunday will be allowed a paid rest period of ten minutes between 9.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. This rest period is to be paid for as though worked.
26.4 An employee working on a Saturday or Sunday will be allowed a paid meal break of 20 minutes after four hours’ work, to be paid for at the ordinary rate of pay, but this will not prevent any arrangements being made for the taking of a 30-minute meal period, the time in addition to the paid 20 minutes being without pay. In the event of an employee being required to work in excess of a further four hours, the employee will be allowed to take a paid rest break of 30 minutes which will be paid at the ordinary rate of pay.
