Workers Comp. 10 Any employee covered by Workmen's Compensation and State Industrial Insurance will, upon loss of 11 time due to a job-related injury or illness, be paid leave in the amount of the difference between his/her 12 regular pay and compensation received. The full amount of leave will be paid for the first three (3) 13 days. Should an employee later receive compensation for the first three (3) days of absence, the 14 amount paid to the employee will be credited to the District from monies due the employee in the next 15 payroll period. That portion of leave paid, as determined by the ratio of regular leave and State 16 Industrial Compensation, will be charged against the employee's accrued leave.
