WORKER’S COMPENSATION OR OCCUPATIONAL. DISEASES ACTS ABSENCES. Absences resulting from industrial accidents or illnesses and compensated under the Worker’s Compensation or Occupational Diseases Acts of the State of Illinois will not be charged against the employee's accrued sick leave except to the extent necessary to make up the difference between salary, when requested by the employee.
