Working on a Designated. Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest 12.5.1 When a designated holiday falls on an employee’s assigned day of rest, and the employee is required to work, the employee shall be compensated in addition to the employee’s regular pay at a rate of time and one-half (1½) for hours worked and given a day off in lieu of the assigned day of rest.
