Working Through Breaks. In order to maximize productivity, the Company may schedule breaks so as to operate packaging and warehouse continuously, provided sufficient positions and trained employees are available.
Working Through Breaks. Employees required to work through a regular lunch period or rest period will be given time to eat or rest at a time agreed upon by the employee and supervisor. In the event the District requires an employee to forego a lunch period or rest period and the employee works the entire shift, including the lunch or rest period, the employee will be compensated for the foregone period at the overtime rate.

Employees who request permission to leave early or who agree to leave early because of a temporary reduced departmental workload shall be paid for the time worked only. In the event that more than one employee makes such a request, seniority shall be the governing factor in receiving the Company’s approval.
