Workload Averaging i. The average teaching load is determined over an entire academic year; eighteen (18) hours of instruction per week in one semester and fourteen (14) in the other, for example, constitute an average teaching load of sixteen (16) hours for classroom related instructors. ii. In exceptional circumstances a regular faculty member may request to average the teaching workload over a longer period. In these circumstances, the faculty member shall submit a plan, in writing, regarding accountable and vacation time to the appropriate Chair/Coordinator and Responsible Administrator for approval. Notwithstanding Article 17.02.b and 17.02.c, plans may provide for a carryover of up to forty-two (42) professional development days and eighty- four (84) vacation days. To facilitate these situations, the distribution of work, as per Articles 6.06 and 6.07, does not apply. A copy of each approved plan will be forwarded to the Association.

Workload Averaging. (see 2.8) 6.11.1.1 A full load may be worked by different combinations of scheduled duties in two consecutive terms so long as the average of weekly loads in the two terms is not more than the full weekly load specified in the Agreement. 6.11.1.2 By agreement between the employee, the employee’s Coordinator and the Xxxx, a full workload may be worked by different combinations of scheduled duties in consecutive years so long as the following conditions are met: 6.11.1.2.1 the average of the weekly loads is not more than the full weekly load specified in the Agreement; and 6.11.1.2.2 not more than nine point five (9.5) sections or equivalent is the total workload in any one academic year; and 6.11.1.2.3 no non-regular or regular part-time employee’s aggregate normal workload is reduced as a consequence of the averaging, unless the non-regular or regular part-time employee has a full-time employment or equivalent outside of the work covered by this Collective Agreement. 6.11.1.2.4 averaging agreements shall be written and a copy will be forwarded to the Union upon agreement.

  • Disruption 41.1 The Contractor shall take reasonable care to ensure that in the performance of its obligations under the Framework Agreement it does not disrupt the operations of the Authority, its employees or any other Contractor employed by the Authority. 41.2 The Contractor shall immediately inform the Authority of any actual or potential industrial action, whether such action be by their own employees or others, which affects or might affect its ability at any time to perform its obligations under the Framework Agreement. 41.3 In the event of industrial action by the Staff, the Contractor shall seek Approval to its proposals to continue to perform its obligations under the Framework Agreement. 41.4 If the Contractor’s proposals referred to in clause 41.3 are considered insufficient or unacceptable by the Authority acting reasonably, then the Authority may by notice terminate the Framework Agreement with immediate effect.

  • Workloads The parties agree to the following provisions relating to faculty members' workload. (a) The registration limits for all courses currently offered by the Employer in the academic, career and technology areas are 35 unless established by practice as lower, excepting multiple sections where the limit is the correct multiple of the number of sections involved. (b) The registration limits for English are as follows: (i) Writing and Composition Courses - 25 (ii) Writing Skills -17 (iii) Creative Writing - 22

  • Downtime There may be downtime during the Migration. The duration of the downtime will depend on the amount of data that Agency is migrating. Axon will work with Agency to minimize any downtime. Any VIEVU mobile application will need to be disabled upon Migration.

  • System Upgrades The Connecting Transmission Owner shall procure, construct, install, and own the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Attachment 6 of this Agreement. To the extent that design work is necessary in addition to that already accomplished in the Class Year Interconnection Facilities Study for the Interconnection Customer, the Connecting Transmission Owner shall perform or cause to be performed such work. If all the Parties agree, the Interconnection Customer may construct System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades. 5.2.1 As described in Section 32.3.5.3 of the SGIP in Attachment Z of the ISO OATT, the responsibility of the Interconnection Customer for the cost of the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Attachment 6 of this Agreement shall be determined in accordance with Attachment S of the ISO OATT, as required by Section 32.3.5.3.2

  • Mileage Measurement Where required, the mileage measurement for LIS rate elements is determined in the same manner as the mileage measurement for V&H methodology as outlined in NECA Tariff No. 4.

  • Supported wage rates Employees to whom this clause applies shall be paid the applicable percentage of the minimum rate of pay prescribed by this Agreement for the class of work which the person is performing according to the following schedule: * (Provided that the minimum amount payable shall be not less than $45 per week). Where a person’s assessed capacity is 10%, they shall receive a high degree of assistance and support.

  • Wet Weather In the event of wet weather, work in the open will continue until the particular work in hand can no longer be done safely and efficiently. Whilst it is raining, employees will be required to: Continue to work under cover or relocate to alternative work under cover, on site. Obtain materials and services for employees working under cover where there is only minimal exposure to inclement weather. When required, perform emergency and safety work. In addition, work on unexpected breakdowns, which can be corrected in limited time duration. Should a portion of the project be affected by wet weather, all other employees not so affected shall continue working in accordance with award conditions, regardless that some employees may be entitled to cease work due to wet weather. If a halt to productive work occurs due to inclement weather, the parties agree that employees may be relocated to other unaffected sites. Where the above steps are not possible, affected employees may be required to attend tool box meetings, work planning sessions or skills development activities, all of which will count as productive time for payment purposes.

  • Outputs Analogue and digital outputs of protected content are allowed if they meet the requirements in this section and if they are not forbidden elsewhere in this Agreement..
