Workplace Bullying. Workplace harassment, or bullying, is defined as the repeated less favourable treatment of a person by another or others in the workplace, which may be considered unreasonable and inappropriate workplace practice. It includes behaviour that intimidates, offends, degrades or humiliates. It is recognised that workplace bullying can have a damaging effect on employees, both personally and professionally, and can have a detrimental effect on the workplace and the University as a whole. The University and employees are committed to work together to eliminate any such inappropriate behaviour within the University. Complaints of workplace harassment or bullying can be resolved through the relevant University policies, procedures and guidelines.
