Workspace and Equipment. a. All academic employees should be provided the basic configuration, as follows: telephone, voice mail, computer, e-mail, internet access, and printer access. Health and safety needs such as work stations designed to minimize workplace injuries and in accordance with OSHA/WISHA standards, should be considered part of the basic configuration. b. All academic employees shall be provided support in the use of the above technology. c. The College shall supply and maintain safe classrooms and other workspaces to academic employees in a fiscally responsible manner, for the performance of academic employees' assigned work. Workspaces will be secure and lockable. d. The College will provide Part-Time faculty with secure lockable storage, such as a filing cabinet or locker. This secure storage will be as close to the Part-Time faculty workspace as is practical. e. The College agrees to coordinate the optimization of Part-Time faculty workspace assignments, including meeting spaces. f. Full-Time faculty who are on extended leave or who do not require daily access to a campus office will be encouraged to share office space with Part-Time faculty.
