Common use of Written Notice to Employee Clause in Contracts

Written Notice to Employee. a. If the matter is not resolved to the satisfaction of the complainant, he/she shall put into writing and submit the original to the unit member’s supervisor. The supervisor shall provide a copy to the unit member. The unit member shall be given time during the duty day, without salary deduction, to review the complaint. b. The unit member has the right to attach written and signed comments to any written complaint filed. c. If the unit member believes improper procedures were followed, a grievance may be initiated.
