Common use of Written Statements Clause in Contracts

Written Statements. ‌ (a) The Employer agrees that any written statements against any member of the Union by another member of the Union shall not be used in grievances, arbitration or any other matter excepting letters of concern with regards to the care and safety of patients, or matters that could be detrimental to the safety of the public and/or employees. (b) It is agreed that Article (a) shall not apply to employees occupying supervisory positions, Instructors, or employees acting in any of these positions, who, whilst in the performance of their duties, are required to submit written reports on employees.
