Xxxxx abuse reporting. CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all known or suspected instances of abuse or neglect of elderly people 65 years of age or older and dependent adults age 18 or older are promptly reported to proper authorities as required by the Elder Abuse and Dependent Adult Protection Act (California Welfare and Institutions Code, sections 15600 Code, et seq.). CONTRACTOR shall require all of its employees, consultants, and agents performing services under this Agreement who are mandated reporters under the Act to sign statements indicating that they know of and shall comply with the Act’s reporting requirements.
