Xxxxxxxxx who voluntarily resign or retire their employment with the University shall have their pending grievances immediately withdrawn and will not benefit by any subsequent settlement or disposition of any individual, union, or group grievance. However, if the group or union grievance is related to the implementation of a compensation provision negotiated in a UC/UPTE Agreement, the grievance may be continued if it has moved to Step 2 before the date of the employees' resignation or retirement. The foregoing provision shall not apply to LBNL.
