Young Saver Account. 2.3.1 Young Saver accounts can be opened by adults for children from birth up to the age of 16 years. 2.3.2 Proof of identity is required to open a Young Saver account (see clause 1.2.3) 2.3.3 There is no minimum savings requirement for young saver accounts. 2.3.4 Parents, guardians, relatives and friends can also deposit savings into a Young Saver Account.
