Match Funds. The goal of this subtask is to ensure that the Recipient obtains any match funds planned for this Agreement and applies them to the Agreement during the Agreement term. While the costs to obtain and document match funds are not reimbursable under this Agreement, the Recipient may spend match funds for this task. The Recipient may only spend match funds during the Agreement term, either concurrently or prior to the use of Energy Commission funds. Match funds must be identified in writing, and the Recipient must obtain any associated commitments before incurring any costs for which the Recipient will request reimbursement. • Prepare a Match Funds Status Letter that documents the match funds committed to this Agreement. If no match funds were part of the proposal that led to the Energy Commission awarding this Agreement and none have been identified at the time this Agreement starts, then state this in the letter. If match funds were a part of the proposal that led to the Energy Commission awarding this Agreement, then provide in the letter: o A list of the match funds that identifies: ▪ The amount of cash match funds, their source(s) (including a contact name, address, and telephone number), and the task(s) to which the match funds will be applied. ▪ The amount of each in-kind contribution, a description of the contribution type (e.g., property, services), the documented market or book value, the source (including a contact name, address, and telephone number), and the task(s) to which the match funds will be applied. If the in-kind contribution is equipment or other tangible or real property, the Recipient must identify its owner and provide a contact name, address, telephone number, and the address where the property is located. ▪ If different from the solicitation application, provide a letter of commitment from an authorized representative of each source of match funding that the funds or contributions have been secured. • At the Kick-off meeting, discuss match funds and the impact on the project if they are significantly reduced or not obtained as committed. If applicable, match funds will be included as a line item in the progress reports and will be a topic at CPR meetings. • Provide a Supplemental Match Funds Notification Letter to the CAM of receipt of additional match funds. • Provide a Match Funds Reduction Notification Letter to the CAM if existing match funds are reduced during the course of the Agreement. Match Funds. 1. The Grantee agrees to provide match funds in the amount of TYPE OUT DOLLAR AMOUNT (ALPHA) DOLLARS ($NUMERIC) (Match Funds) for this Project. This Match Funds amount is based on Line Item Budget categories, funding sources, and amounts submitted by the Grantee in its application and during the negotiation of this Agreement. Any Match Funds line item changes or adjustments in Match Funds classifications or sources requested by the Grantee must be approved, in advance and in writing, by the Grant Manager.
2. If, upon completion of the Project, the Grantee has provided match funds in an amount that is less than the Match Funds amount set forth in paragraph F.1 above, then the State Water Board may proportionately reduce the Grant amount and/or the Grantee’s Match Funds amount, provided the reduced amount(s) satisfy statutory requirements and State Water Board guidelines.
Match Funds. If the Agreement budget includes a Match Funds requirement, University’s commitment of resources, as described in this Agreement, is a required expenditure for receipt of Energy Commission funds. Agreement funds will be released only if the Match Funds are expended according to the Budget. University must maintain accounting records detailing the expenditure of the Match Funds (actual cash and in-kind services) and provide a Match Funds Report as required in Exhibit A1.
Match Funds. The Parties agree to provide match funds up to SIX HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($685,000) for this Project. This amount of match funds is based on work in-kind, such as labor, capital purchasing and installation costs as incurred under the tasks in the Scope of Work, set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto. Each party to this MOU understands and agrees that it is required to match funds equivalent to any and all invoices for reimbursement submitted by said party pursuant to the Grant Agreement and shall provide such information in its reports submitted pursuant to Exhibit B.
Match Funds. (a) The Recipient agrees to provide Match Funds in the amount of [WRITTEN DOLLAR AMOUNT] DOLLARS ($Dollar Amount).
(b) This Match Funds amount is based on the budget, funding sources, and amounts submitted by the Recipient in its application and during the negotiation of this Agreement. Any Match Funds changes or adjustments requested by the Recipient must be approved, in advance and in writing, by the Grant Manager and may require an amendment to this Agreement.
(c) Only expenses that would be considered eligible under the Guidelines will be counted towards the Recipient’s Match Funds.
(d) Any costs incurred prior to the adoption of Proposition 68 on June 5, 2018, will not count towards the Recipient’s Match Funds.
(e) If, at Work Completion, the Recipient has provided Match Funds in an amount that is less than the Match Funds amount set forth above, the State Water Board may proportionately reduce the Grant Funds amount and/or Recipient’s Match Funds amount, upon approval of the Deputy Director of the Division, provided the reduced amount(s) satisfy statutory requirements and Guidelines.

If no match funds were part of the proposal that led to the CEC awarding 33 this Agreement and none have been identified at the time this Agreement starts, then 34 state this in the letter. 36 If match funds were a part of the proposal that led to the CEC awarding this Agreement, 37 then provide in the letter: 38 o A list of the match funds that identifies: 39 ▪ The amount of cash match funds, their source(s) (including a contact name, 40 address, and telephone number), and the task(s) to which the match funds 41 will be applied. 42 ▪ The amount of each in-kind contribution, a description of the contribution type 43 (e.g., property, services), the documented market or book value, the source 44 (including a contact name, address, and telephone number), and the task(s) 45 to which the match funds will be applied. Match Funds. Subgrantee will contribute a minimum of $33,142 in Match Funds toward its performance of the Project Services. Subgrantee will include summary information concerning its contribution of the Match Funds in the Final Report submitted to DNR under this Award Agreement. If the Reimbursable Costs actually payable to the Subgrantee are less than the maximum Reimbursable Amount, Subgrantee is only obligated to contribute Match Funds in the same ratio as the actual Reimbursable Costs is to the maximum Reimbursable Amount.
Match Funds. The Development will use Match funds in accordance with the requirements of CPD Notice 97-03 or its successors, the Multifamily Direct Loan Rule, the Qualified Action Plan, and the Multifamily Application.
