Compensation for Damage or Loss (1) When investments made by investors of either Contracting Party suffer damage or loss owing to war or other armed conflict, a state of national emergency, revolt, civil disturbances, insurrection, riot or other similar events in the territory of the other Contracting Party, they shall be accorded by the latter Contracting Party, treatment, as regards restitution, indemnification, compensation or other settlement, not less favourable than that the latter Contracting Party accords to its own investors or investors of any third state, whichever is the most favourable.
Injured on Duty Pay An employee who, in the ordinary course of employment, while acting in a reasonable and prudent manner and in compliance with the established rules and procedures of the Appointing Authority, incurs a disabling injury stemming from the aggressive and/or intentional and overt act of a person, or which is incurred while attempting to apprehend or take into custody such person, shall receive compensation in an amount equal to the difference between the employee's regular rate of pay and benefits paid under Workers' Compensation, without deduction from the employee's accrued sick leave. Such compensation shall not exceed an amount equal to two hundred forty (240) times the employee's regular hourly rate of pay per disabling injury.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE SUFFERED BY YOU 14.1 We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. Self-Insured Retention/Deductibles Certificates of Insurance must indicate the applicable deductibles/self-insured retentions for each listed policy. Deductibles or self-insured retentions above $100,000.00 are subject to approval from OGS. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for all claim expenses and loss payments within the deductibles or self-insured retentions. If the Contractor is providing the required insurance through self-insurance, evidence of the financial capacity to support the self-insurance program along with a description of that program, including, but not limited to, information regarding the use of a third-party administrator shall be provided upon request.
